Let's Work Together

Let's Work Together

Sharing your story. It what we all want to do. The question is how can we best tell our own story, and how can we help others in the process?

I have had the privilege of connecting with educators and life long learners in many places across the country through speaking at conferences, facilitating workshops, and consulting schools and organizations on how they can create a sustainable and successful 21st-Century education program. A program that focuses on student empowerment and choice while challenging learners with academic rigor, and a program with measurable results. My story is one of discovery, risk taking, and reflection. It is with these words that helped lead my school, Harkham Hillel Hebrew Academy from a computer lab to an Apple Distinguished School - in 3 years, a program that is visited by schools nationwide.

The Entrepreneurial Spark: Creating The Space To Promote Entrepreneurial Thinking

Entrepreneurial thinking is less about starting and running a business and more about how you look at the world around you differently and seek out to solve problems you see in the world. In this workshop participants will embark on a journey towards creating a dedicated time and space at their school for students to learn about, develop, and pursue challenges they care about through the lens of entrepreneurial problem-solving.

Coding Your Story

Coding is not just a process but a language in and of itself. In education, it is often limited to afterschool programs or an independent course. While these approaches can have a positive impact on students, it does not give all students access and opportunities to discover coding’s role in their learning. To solve this, I developed a curriculum that synthesizes coding and literacy in the elementary classroom. Beyond the benefits and skills gained through coding, it allows the writing process to become visual and hands-on, giving students a completely new way to develop writing and coding literacies. Come learn how I developed this program and bring it into your classroom.

I also do long term consulting projects with schools that focus on long term strategic planning and development for 1:1 technology programs. While I am able to bring my expertise and insight, these projects are co-created ensuring that the leadership teams of the school are able to fulfill what may be a 3-5 year project. Long term consulting is focused on innovation in leadership, learning, teaching, and technology, as well as helping to further a positive culture in your organization.
