Who Is The Tech Rabbi?
Michael Cohen, The Tech Rabbi is a designer and technologist turned educator. He is a national speaker, writer, and creativity instigator who believes his mission is to help young people develop the creative confidence become challenge seekers and solution designers. He works with schools, institutions, and businesses to help them create new or refined opportunities for students to leverage technology, media creation, and 21st-Century skills in a way that fosters inquiry and the drive to solve the complex challenges of our global society. He shares his story of design and creativity through social media, keynote addresses and featured talks on international stages including ISTE, SXSWEdu, Congreo.Edu Mexico, EdtechTeacher Summits, and Apple Education events. He currently serves as the Director of Innovation at YULA Boys High School in Los Angeles where he is focused on scaling a student driven Entrepreneurial Studio. He is the producer of the Educated By Design vlog, podcast, and the soon to be released book published by DBC Inc. He is an Apple Distinguished Educator, Google Certified Trainer, Adobe Certified Trainer and ranked one of the top 50 EdTech Influencers today.
